I spent my early years in the Midwest, in the fields of Indiana.  I also spent my happiest childhood days in the beautiful hills of West Virginia.  I have a son, Judah, whom I am very close to.   He's a very wise soul, and brilliant too.  He loves animals and plants and tells me he wants to be a biologist, get some land and practice wildlife rehabilitation.  He is also an artist who loves to paint and recently has taken up modeling.

Music is my passion, as I have been lured by its mystery and beauty since I was a small child.  I went to graduate school in California to study ethnomusicology where I had the wonderful opportunity to study the music and culture of India and Egypt among other fascinating things.  I believe that it is possible to create an abundant, prosperous and joyful life doing what I love.  Currently I am working towards a certification in music therapy.  I am interested in combining the best of music therapy with sound healing practices.  I am very drawn to the wisdom of ancient and indigenous cultures and their understanding of the power of sound.  It has only been in recent history that the West has finally come back to this understanding.  It is a very exciting time for me to be researching and practicing. 

I have discovered through my journeys in music, and in sound, the powerful and unending depths of healing potential that awaits there.  I realize my purpose in this life is to share this with others in a capacity that will both empower and heal.  My vision is to establish a healing practice that will incorporate all the facets of music and sound, to create a healing space, a sanctuary, where the vibrations of sound will resonate and harmonize the human energy field.
